It seems like May was a crazy month for everyone. I had hard stuff and a crazy schedule schedule. 

I&#039;m writing to share my mom&#039;s age-old wisdom about scratchy throats -- gargling with salt water. Mix about a 1/2 teaspoon to 8oz of luke-warm water. (By no means, does this have to be exact.) Gargle til the glass is empty. 

If I do this right when I start to get scratchy, I can usually avert a full-blown sore throat. (Of course, the above remedy is ideally accompanied by rest *wink*)
